Nathan Dunn

PAWS for Love Dog Training, LLC is composed of two ABC Certified trainers who adore all dogs. We love dogs so much, we took a leap of faith, and made careers out of it. With certifications from Animal Behavior College, and a lifetime of owning, training, and loving our own dogs, we can get you and your pooch on the path to success. We'd love the opportunity to show you the magic of positive training.

At PAWS, our mission is to promote positive relationships through positive methods. Through Positive Reinforcement training, we can show your dog what he/she SHOULD do and prevent them from doing what they SHOULDN'T do. This eliminates or minimizes the need for corrections and serves not only the loving relationship between dog and owner for the better, but also the confidence and mental health of your dog. PAWS thrives on mutual respect, structure, and dog/human communication, and I'm telling you...we LOVE what we do.

Meet the Trainers

Nathan: Born in Denver and raised in Longmont, Colorado has always been my home. In 2002, I made the decision to transfer to Adult Education Center from Longmont High School in order to graduate early and begin my life in the United States Marine Corp. On June 1st, 2003, I began that journey. It was shortly after returning home from my OIF2 tour did I discover the true bond between us and our canines. After years of desperately wanting to become a Certified dog trainer, Logan (who I had met in Psychology class) and I were fortunate enough to find Animal Behavior College and finally start our career path. With hard work, constant studying and attention to detail, we not only received our certificates, but also graduated with Honors. For many years I have owed my life to dogs and I am blessed to finally be afforded the opportunity to co-start PAWS for Love DT and begin repaying that debt, one dog at a time.

Logan: Growing up in Nebraska, there were always dogs in my house. I watched the bond our Golden Retriever had with my father and knew that dogs were something special. That same dog saved me from drowning in a lake, and my faith in the brilliance of dogs was forever cemented. After marrying young and starting a family in the Army, I returned home, yearning for something greater. Several jobs went by before Nate and I had the opportunity to travel to Animal Behavior College. After 5 months of hands-on work, studying, and loving what we were doing, we returned home with one goal in mind: help fellow dog owners understand, respect, bond with, and enjoy their dogs. I am grateful to all who helped me get to where I am, and I am grateful to all those who sacrifice themselves for the betterment of their dogs. YOU are the difference makers, and I thank you.
